Own shares

A Concept

One idea we are working on is to do the following;

Open a corportaion and issue shares,

The corporation/entity would always hold 51% of the outstanding shares.

Sell shares for a dollar to anyone and everyone that would buy them,

Use the money to purchase land, small pieces and big pieces which could be Gopher Tortoise habitat,

Also use the money for a basic program of land management through local (wherever the land is) volunteers and employees.

Each share holder will now be a quasai land owner and participate in the preservation of the species.

The entity would always maintain 51% so that owners could never vote to sell or develop.

Communities big and small could benefit from the micro ecosystems replacing what may have otherwise become higher population density or asphalt.
