Sadness measured
One of our current projects is trying to eliminate baby hatchlings from being run over in a 3 block area that surrounds a "Gopher Tortoise Preserve".
We are working at the pace of the entities who hold the authority to get things done which is slow.
We conduct a sweep of the area or a pass of the area 5 times daily trying to collect the hatchlings and get them across or off of the road before they are hit.
